Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 July 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Aurio — the podcast, clips, and AI-recap application and website (the “Service”) operated by Turnstac Technologies Limited (“Turnstac”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales. Please read them carefully. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you can form a binding contract with us, that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to use the Service), and that you will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.
These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy by reference. Where the Service is downloaded from a third-party app store, you also agree to that store’s applicable terms.
The Service
Aurio lets you discover, stream, and interact with podcasts, clips, and AI-generated recaps, and includes social features such as comments (“Tweet on Pod”), likes, bookmarks, and watch-party chat. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time to improve the Service or for legal, security, or operational reasons.
Some podcast and clip content is provided by third parties. We are not responsible for the accuracy, opinions, or availability of third-party content, and its inclusion does not imply our endorsement.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep it up to date, and to notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.
You may delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or its users, as described under “Suspension and termination”.
User-generated content and acceptable use
The Service allows you to post and share content, including comments, replies, and watch-party chat messages (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant Turnstac a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute it as necessary to operate and provide the Service.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and for ensuring you have the rights to share it. You must not post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, infringing of others’ rights, or otherwise objectionable.
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on the Service. Prohibited conduct includes harassment, bullying, hate speech, threats, impersonation, spam, and any content that is illegal or that endangers others. Engaging in such behaviour is a serious breach of these Terms.
You can report objectionable content or abusive users from within the Service, and you can block users so you no longer see their content or receive messages from them. We review reports of objectionable content and will remove content that violates these Terms, typically within 24 hours, and may suspend or permanently remove users who post it.
We may, but are not obliged to, monitor, review, or moderate User Content. We may remove or restrict any content, and suspend or terminate any account, that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, without prior notice.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content we provide (excluding User Content and third-party podcast content), is owned by or licensed to Turnstac and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.
You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Service except as permitted by law or with our prior written consent.
Advertising and third-party services
The Service may display advertising and rely on third-party providers (for example, cloud hosting, sign-in providers, and ad networks). Your use of those features may be subject to the third parties’ own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, and any dealings you have with third parties are solely between you and them.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, or remove your User Content, at any time if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or to protect the Service, other users, or the public. Where reasonable and lawful, we will give you notice.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will continue to apply.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components, or that content (including AI-generated recaps) will be accurate or complete. AI-generated summaries and recommendations are provided for convenience and may contain errors; you should not rely on them as a substitute for the original content.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Turnstac will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Turnstac harmless from any claims, damages, losses, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of any applicable law or third-party rights, to the extent permitted by law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts, and mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence continue to apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
